This is not the first time Carl Voss has been active in local politics. In 2013-2014, Voss sat as Interim Councilman for Ward 4.

With his vast background in civic and community support, Voss looks to pedal his way through the city, speaking with neighborhoods across Des Moines about deteriorating roads, water quality, and beautifying Des Moines.
